Let’s see, I’ve been uber busy recently. That’s why I haven’t had a chance to write anything. This past week not only have a had full time class but I also worked 43+ hours. Don’t ask me how t
hat happened, I have no idea. Last Saturday we took a field trip in Media Design to the children’s museum and saw the actual batmobile. Actually I probably could have lived without paying $13.50 to get into the children’s museum, look at the batmobile, and leave. It was too much money. I read this was one of 8 circulating too, so who knows how much of the movie it was actually in!
I’ve also been doing a lot of shopping lately… you know 43 hours a week can bring in a lot of extra cash. They way I look at it is it’s just birthday presents to myself. I’ve actually just bought dresses. I’ve been searching for the perfect birthday dress, and have ended up buying 3 before I found the actual dress I was happy with. I plan on returning the other two. However, this is the dress I bought. I also got a great pair of shoes, at a place I had never heard of called ‘Shi’ and I believe it’s owned by Journey’s. Maybe you’ve heard of it, maybe not. I can’t wait until my birthday just so I can dress up. I never get to dress up for anything, it’s exciting. I also got a great new pair of sunglasses. Totally zebra print, and I love my zebra print. They’re gorgeous and only $15. I can’t find any pictures of the shoes or glasses online, but I’m sure some pictures will eventually pop up of me wearing them both.’
In other news, I completely destroyed my phone. I was at work and basically soaked it in water, accidental of course, and now it is incapable of working. But some good actually came out of it, I am now a proud owner of the new Voyager. Actually it’s not in my possession yet, apparently the price just dropped $200, and there was such a high demand for the that they stopped sending them to the Verizon stores, so I had to order mine online. A Verizon associate told me they would overnight it to me and it would be here in the morning. Well, that was yesterday and it’s still not here. Don’t call it overnight shipping if it doesn’t get to you over night! That bugs me, but it should be here today. This phone is really cool by the way, I’ve got the touch screen front, and it flips open with the keyboard. I’m so addicted to phones, I haven’t had one since Sunday night and I’m already going crazy without one.
This is all I have for today, I need to get ready for work, again. Bleh. I shouldn’t be complaining. My job is easy. It’s just so monotonous and boring.

Yesterday my brother, my friend Ashley and myself went to see “Bodies The Exhibition” and it was literally amazing. There was so much to see, and it was incredibly interesting. I actually got to hold a human brain. Who would have thought… it’s just too cool. I’m going to go again with Alfie. He couldn’t go last night because he had a show.
Speaking of, Alfie had a show last night and I couldn’t attend because poor little ‘ol me isn’t 21 yet, but I will be in 27 days! I can’t wait. I’m still not sure what we’re doing yet, but I’ll get plans set soon enough. It’s still kind of far away to be thinking about.

So my friend Lena and I went on a photo shoot the other day. She has an amazing camera, and she’s trying to build up her art portfolio so she offers free shoots to people, and she does an amazing job. I haven’t received my pictures yet, but I can’t wait. When I get them, I’ll post some up here. We went to Falls Park to shoot them. That’s by far my favorite park ever. We decided to take some water shots, because the water there is really shallow and pretty, however it’s very fast moving and there are rocks all over the place that create these small rapids. So Lena asked me to go sit on this rock in the middle of the river and I did. It was all fine and dandy until we decided to move locations. I stepped on a rock covered in algae and it was so slippery. I took a fall right into the water, in my nice outfit and all. Luckily I wasn’t carrying my cell phone on me, otherwise I would have been pissed. I had put on some flip flops while walking around in the water, because I didn’t want to wear my flats in, and when I fell the current caught one of my shoes and carried it away, I never found it after that. 
Anyways, all and all, it was a pretty fun shoot.
Later, Alfie took me out to dinner, a very nice steak dinner in fact. What a good boyfriend. He certainly didn’t have to do that, but it was nice of him. We ate at the Loon Lake Lodge, which I had never been to before, but heard lots about it, it was so good. They serve a lot of weird things there [weird things that I wouldn't try] like rattlesnake, pheasant, and elk.
Also, our friends The Gates of Slumber had their video premier on Headbanger’s Ball. Go them, it was pretty cool seeing someone you know on MTV2. 
Anyways, that’s all for now. I’ve written too much by now.

So I’ve finally come to a decision. I’ve officially switched over to an associates degree. Not exactly what I had planned for myself, but right now I’m just financially strained and feel I have no other option.
Why my brother, who was a complete fuck up, never went to class, and eventually was kicked out of college had his tuition paid for by my parents while I myself, have to pay for my schooling and everything else is beyond me. I actually go to class and am trying to make something of myself. I suppose I shouldn’t be complaining, things could be worse. I suppose it’s all for the good in the long run. It’s just stressful.
So tonight’s poker night. John O just called me and he told me to head over, so I’m going to end this little rant. Wish me luck, and I hope I can win some money!

So I have a new layout. It’s one I think that can stay on here for basically ever and not have to worry about updating… because it’s me of course! To tell the truth, it will actually get updated pretty soon. We’ll see… Not to mention I’m thinking of re-vamping the whole site. But I’ve still have content to put up and stuff like that, so it will be up a good while. I just wanted something that looked nice and I could see leaving up for an extended amount of time, since school is back in session and I don’t know how much free time I’ll have.
I had class today, Fundamentals of Marketing. Same old stuff really. This class could be really interesting, if the teacher didn’t get off topic every 2 seconds. I’m thinking of switching to an associates degree as well. I can’t see myself staying in school for another 2 years. I’d almost be done if I got an associates. Then, I could find a real job, and have actual income to help pay for my bachelors. I don’t know what to do… 
Me and the boyfriend are about to watch Adaptation, with Nicholas Cage [who I can't stand, so hopefully I can sit through this.] Alfie said it was good, so I suppose I can give it a chance.
